Sterling (Mar. 31, 2008) – Park View High School senior Dylan Smith has committed to play baseball for NCAA Division III Eastern Mennonite University next year in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Patriot athletic director Joe Breinig, Jr., says Smith will major in business administration. There will be a ceremony for all Patriot student athletes moving on to college on May 23.

@ Fireman’s Field
The Vikings lost their second game in as many days losing to the Langley Saxons 10-0 in a non-district contest.Saxon pitcher Barrett Hunter threw a complete game no hit shutout.
He struck out eight while walking only two batters.
The Vikings play again on Tuesday, April 1 against Liberty High School at Fireman’s Field.
Game time is 6:00 p.m.
Broad Run 10, Man. Park 2
The Skinny: Spartans improve to 5-1 with J.P. Devlin and Bubba Bernstein on the mound.
Senior JP Devlin got the start on Saturday for the Broad Run
High School baseball team against the visiting Manassas Park Cougars
and delivered in style holding the Cougars to one earned run over six
innings to lead the Spartans to their fifth win of the young season.
Senior
catcher Tommy Meier goes 3-for-3 at the plate and blows the game wide
open for the Spartans in the 4th inning with a 2-run double.
Bubba Burnstein came in relief and set down the Cougars in order to seal the Spartans 10-2 victory.
The Spartans (5-1) next host Freedom on Tuesday at home. The Cougars (1-3) play host to Seton on Monday
