(Oct. 5, 2006) Park View got its second half volleyball season
jump-started Tuesday by snappinig a four-game losing streak and
defeating Briar Woods 25-12, 25-15, 25-21 Tuesday in Group AA Dulles
District action.
The Patriots were paced by Connie Oliver’s 10 kills and four blocks.
Park View also got seven kills and three aces from Megan Brown, while
Stephanie Reese contributed eight kills. Carolyn Bien ran the offense
and had 19 assists to go with 14 service points, including three aces.
Park View is now 4-4 in district and 4-5 overall (not counting a
tournament where they posted a 3-5 game mark in tw0-game matches).
Briar Woods is still searching for its first victory of the season.
