View High School boys basketball team to a 72-64 win over George Mason
Thursday.
and senior forward Jack “Bird” Settje.
The Patriots are now 2-0 on the season after the non-district
victory. The Patriots won despite giving up 33 points to Mustang senior
forward Jack “Bird” Settje. Nicknamed for former NBA star Larry Bird,
Settje averaged over 14 points a game last year and hit 44 percent from
3-point range, where he nailed four on Thursday.
Park View had more balance with Chris Harvin and Kenny Smith each scoring 10 and Amechi Anyaugo adding nine.
