(Dec. 18, 2006) – the Park View High School swim team swept Freedom
last weekend with freshman Amber Kerico breaking the school record in
the 100 breaststorke with a 1:17.45 swim.
The Patriots won the girls meet 173-105 and the boys meet 143-122.
On the boys side, senior Steven Hoisington has earned state cuts in
the 500 Free with a time of 5:19.20, 100 Back with a time of 1:00.45
and 200 Indivdual Medley with a time of 2:12.88.
Kerico has qualified for states int he following events: 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:04.87,
200 Indivdual Medley with a time of 2:26.93, and 100 ****** with a time of 1:17.45.
The Patriot girls medley relay team also has earned a state cut with a 2:04.70. The team is made of of Anna Milotte, Lorin Hoisington, Amber Kerico, and Courtney Jones.
