(Sept. 24, 2007) – For the second time in a week, the Dominion High
School volleyball team defeated Park View. While the first time was a
non-district affair in the J.E.B. Stuart Invitational, Thursday’s
19-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-22 victory counted in the AA Dulles District
standings.
The Titans improve to 2-2 in district and 4-3-1 overall, while Park View slips to 0-4 in district and 3-5-1 oveall.

Reed led the way for Dominion on offense with eight kills followed by
Lauren Wong and Maddie Bullock each with six. Nicole Cooper set a new
Dominion record for digs with 18, while Lauren Wong set a new record
for hitting percentage (min 10 attempts) at .364.
Connie Oliver
led PV with 18 kills and three ace while Emily Garcia registered 37
assists. Defensively for the Pats, Chrysa Matyuf had 16 digs and Lisa
Day accounted for 13.
