Leesburg (Oct. 9, 2007) – The Loudoun County High School volleyball team remained unbeaten with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-11) sweep over Park View Thursday night.
County is now 14-0 on the season and 8-0 in the AA Dulles District, while Park View falls to 2-6 and 6-7-1.
The Raiders were led by seniors Marguerite Hanna (15 kills, 10 digs) and Morgan Petkovich (12 kills, 13 digs, 6 blocks). Other key players included sophomore Juliane Hanna (7 kills, 8 digs, 20 service points, and 3 aces), junior Katie Gloe (3 kills, 2 blocks, 3 digs), junior Sara Reilly (12 service points, 2 kills), junior Kerry Sarver (19 asists, 4 digs), junior Rochelle Latka (15 assists, 2 kills), and senior Ali Richards (9 digs).
For Park View, Chrysa Matyuf (13 digs) and Megan Brown (9 digs) led the defense.
The Raider JV and freshman teams also swept their matches 2-0.
