Host PV Ties for 2nd at 29th Lions Tourney

(Dec. 17, 2007) – The Sterling Lions held their 29th Lions Wrestling
tournament this weekend which featured Bishop O’Connell, Park View,
Freedom, West Potomac, Mercersburg, Charlottesville, Clarke County, and
Spotsylvania. O’Connell was very impressive and had the tournament won
before the finals had even started. However, second place stayed up
for grabs all the way until the end … with PV tying West Potomac in
dramatic fashion as heavyweight Edwin Guzman pinned his opponent in the
finals.
