Riding (May 23, 2008) – After battling for 100 minutes to a scoreless
tie, the Park View High School boys soccer team prevailed in penalty
kicks Thursday night to defeat regular season champion Heritage in the
Dulles Disctrict title game at Freedom High School.
Jose Garcia,
Kevin Famenco, Kevin Santos and Andres Contreras all converted on their
attempts and Patriot keeper Omar Gonzales made a save and another Pride
shot in the left post as PV won 4-2 in penalty kicks.
Dulles District Teams in the Region II Playoffs
Some teams will play on Memorial Day while others will have a bye until May 28 …
Boys Soccer: Park View will host Western Albemarle on Monday at 6 p.m. Heritage will host Brentsville on Monday at 7 p.m.
