(Apr. 15, 2009) – So far it has been a spring that only a true David Bowie fan could love (Ch-ch-changes anybody). Despite the appearance the sun — for the first time since last Oct. (no kidding) — wet fields are forcing some postponements and other changes tonight.
As always, check with your team’s coach, your school’s athletic site and perhaps a tea leaf reader before heading to the big game.

JV Boys Lax vs. Dominion at Briar Woods is postponed
Vars. Boys Lax vs. Dominion at Briar Woods is on as scheduled, 7:30 p.m.
JV Girls Lax vs. Dominion at Dominion is postponed.
Vars. Girls Lax vs. Dominion, at Dominion is on, game time now is 7:00 p.m.
Boys and Girls Tennis vs. Broad Run is on as scheduled.

Freedom HS
4/16–JV softball at Loudoun County will begin at 5pm.
4/16–Varsity softball has been moved to Loudoun County High School at 7:15 pm (Freedom will wear white jerseys, Loudoun County will wear blue jerseys). The bus leaves at 4:15pm.
The May 8th Varsity softball contest vs. Loudoun County High School will be played at Freedom at 6pm.
4/16–Varsity baseball will be played at Freedom at 6pm.
4/16–JV baseball will be played at Loudoun County at 6pm. The bus leaves at 4:15pm.
4/16–Boys and girls lacrosse are on as scheduled, boys at Freedom, girls at Loudoun County.
4/17–The JV boys soccer game at Park View is canceled. Park View had to move a varsity girls lacrosse game to 6pm on Friday.
4/16–Boys and girls tennis matches are on as schedule, boys at Freedom, girls at Dominion.

Heritage vs. Wakefield Boys Lacrosse is cancelled (Wet Field)
Loudoun County HS
Varsity softball moved to LCHS on thursday as part of a double header…JV at 5pm, Varsity at 7:15pm

Park View HS
1. Tennis vs LC will be played as scheduled
-boys @ PV
-girls @ LC
2. Baseball home vs Herndon has been postponed and moved to Saturday April 18th @ PV at 11am
3. Lacrosse home vs Potomac Falls has been postponed and moved to the following:
-Girls lacrosse will play Friday night @ PV at 6pm
-Boys lacrosse will play Saturday @ PV at 9am
There is a change on Friday night’s schedule – the JV boys soccer game vs Freedom has been canceled with make up date TBA – to allow for the varsity girls lacrosse to be played. Friday night on stadium field will be:
6pm – Varsity girls lacrosse vs Potomac Falls
7:30pm – Varsity boys soccer vs Freedom
All practice times and locations will be posted on the web page and outside of the athletic office.

The Varsity baseball game scheduled for today–Stone Bridge @ Langley @ 6:30 has been moved to Stone Bridge, same time. The JV game has been rescheduled to Monday , May 4 th @ 6:30 pm @ Langley.
Wednesday April 15 Changes
DULLES DISTRICT TRACK
At this point we as a District are canceling all track meets for today. All previous track schedules will be disregarded and the below schedule will be followed for the remainder of the year.
4/22: LC, H, PV @ F and PF, BR, D @ BW
4/29: LC, BR, F @ PF and BW, PV, D @ H
5/6: D@LC, BW@F and H @BR, PF@PV
The only exception is the invitationals that schools have scheduled and the best of the rest will continue on May 7.
Broad Run HS
The softball game vs Heritage is rescheduled to 4/18 @ 1:00 pm.
The Girls’ Soccer game vs Park View is rescheduled to 4/22.
The Tennis matches vs Loudoun County are rescheduled to 4/17.
Briar Woods HS
The baseball, softball, and track contests scheduled for April 15th have been postponed.
Briar Woods vs. George Mason Boys Soccer scheduled for April 15 is postponed, no make up date as of yet.
Baseball and Softball vs. Loudoun County have been rescheduled for Saturday, April 18th. Vars. Baseball and Softball will be home, Game time is 12:00 noon. JV baseball will be at Loudoun County, game time is also 12:00 noon.
Girls and Boys Tennis vs. Heritage has been postponed to Friday, April 17th. Girls will be at Briar Woods, Boys at Heritage. Please note the start time as it will be 5:00 p.m.
On April 16, the girls JV lax match vs. Dominion has been postponed, no reschedule date as of yet. The varsity match will now begin at 6:00.
Dominion HS
Boys’ Tennis at Dominion vs. Park View has been rescheduled to Friday, April 17
